How can we improve VisualizeUs?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

We don’t have an estimated date for this yet, but definitely we’ll add folders to organize the content on VisualizeUs ;)

Please, keep adding what would you like to have on the folders feature (e.g. drag & drop, thumbnail on the folder, and so on)

With the recent release of our API, we have plans to start working in this feature.
View bookmarked pictures as a list with columns displaying small thumbnails, titles, tags, etc.

Instead of just allowing tags let us put the pics into categories so they become easier to search through.. just an idea.

Allow users to help with removing duplicate pictures.

Many times I have come across pictures that appear twice. It'd be nice if one could be deleted or if it could be merged together.

Yes, this should be done automatically by the computer! Unfortunately since our last migration the DuplicateHunter (that’s how we called it ;)) was turned off because of some strange behaviour in its hunting. After a couple of days digging up what’s going on on its internal, it’s now improved and working again! So it’s working full time to catch up all the missed duplicates from the last month or so.

That said, you’re also right, it isn’t 100% bulletproof and a “flag duplicate” link is going to be added in a re-work interface I’m working right now.

No duplicate tags possible for a bookmark

When doing a bulk edit or just adding tags to a bookmark, it would be easier if it wasn't possible to tag a picture more than once with the same tag. So for example, when doing a bulk edit, if the picture has already been tagged with that tag, not creating another tag in addition to the existing one would be helpful.

Make an iphone app

VisualizeUs should make an iPhone app which syncs to your VisualizeUs account so you can like and post images when you're away from the computer.

Android Application

An android application so we can take photos on our Android devices and automatically upload them to Vi.sualize would be a fantastic addition to this service. There is loads of inspiration out and about, not just online and digital...nature, signage, billboards etc. Would be great to be able to save it on the go

Allow a user to block other user's images.

There are many users that post a lot of graphic images or all they post are obscene, nudity, etc. I'd like to be able to block all of a user's images completely.

Please, give me old Post toVisualizeUs button! Old one was minimalistic and good, newer one frustrates me, it's full of noisy artefacts.

Random order in waterflow mode

It would be great if I could randomize order of my images in waterflow mode. Not only by the date.
